I combined four different patterns to create this one and I incorporated the paint colors of the wainscoting and the front door into the new design.

My clients gave me a master list of their favorite female singers. I illustrated each one, then combined all 16 into a repeat pattern.
My clients now call this the Power Room (instead of the powder room)

If you were a kid in the 70’s there’s a good chance you remember this iconic story arc on The Bionic Woman. I’ve drawn vignettes of my favorite moments and turned it into the repeat pattern of my dreams. I’m happy to customize the color palette in any way you like.

Dancing Morrisseys. This is my idea of a floral.
I referenced the iconic pink and green color palette from The Smiths classic The Queen is Dead album cover circa 1986.
From a distance it looks like a traditional pattern.
When you get up close you’re in for a little surprise: Debbie Harry, Annie Lennox, Morrissey, and Siouxie.

I need to see how each swatch looks in different types of light. This cozy corner of my studio in Kingston, NY is perfect for that purpose. On the table is a series of organically shaped tiles that I made during my ceramics residency in Maine.
