When I was a young impressionable child I saw the B-52’s on Saturday Night Live and I was mesmerized. I asked my mom, “WHAT ARE THOSE?” and she said they were “punks”. Their harmonies, wigs, and fashions made quite an impression (and probably turned me gay). For that I will be forever grateful.

I’ve drawn my favorite iconic ladies of new wave, pop, rock, and soul. Each one is digitally printed on toothy art paper stock and I hand-embellish every print with gold leaf. No two are exactly the same.
